A global conference for a global industry
This week I thought I’d lay out the rationale behind our annual conference, now in its sixth year, which now covers private health care across Europe and all Emerging markets.
Private healthcare services is now a global industry. We’ve identified over 300 operators who are now running international businesses. Many in labs, dialysis, hospitals and imaging services work across continents. And this process is accelerating, with new business models, such as the Second Opinion sector, using the web and telehealth to build new companies which can only function as international players.
Whatever the sector, these operators and their national competitors are all wrestling the same issues – brand, quality, payors, cost. All of which we address at this event.
That is why, in 2016, our event is two days with the first mainly in Europe, and the second mainly on Emerging Markets. There is certainly demand. Nearly seven months out from the event, we already have over 90 paying delegates signed up!
We are also attracting top CEO speakers like the CEOs of Bupa, Schoen, Narayana and the President of Healthcare Holdings at Fosun. It is fun working out who the best people in the world are to deliver great content. And it is even more fun when they agree to speak!
I hope you and your management team will also join us on April 26-27 in London. Meanwhile, we are building Healthcare Nova, our news service on Emerging markets, and two databases, one on Europe, (The Top 1,300) and the other on Emerging Markets (The Top 500), which give complete visibility on the top players.
