Paris in the springtime

Watching Paris host first the Olympic Games and now the Paralympic Games has been a pleasure that I’m sure many of you will have enjoyed this summer. The Games, which have been organised to be the most sustainable ever, have proven the ultimate showcase for a city which will always be synonymous with enlightenment and of course romance.

Paris has won the hearts of many new admirers. Such positive exposure will do no harm to Paris’s burgeoning appeal as one of Europe’s top destinations.

Which brings me to the topic of today’s blog,  as we prepare to host HBI 2025 in Paris March 24–26.

A bigger, better conference

HBI’s mission is to support healthcare CEOs, technology partners, investors, and their advisers to make the right connections and to help them make better informed strategic and investment decisions. To achieve this we have to increase the volume of people, companies, and sectors that give the conference a unique place in the industry.

Our goal for 2025 is to bring over 1,000 delegates together. We are widening our coverage of the sector by venturing into new areas including Aesthetics, Procurement and Logistics, Consumer Health, CROs, Retail Pharmacies, Veterinary Services and Wellness from all of which we will bring more CEOs. By bringing these organisations together alongside our existing core delegation the conference experience can deliver even greater value.

We have harboured ambitions to grow the scale of the conference for many years, and this year, emboldened by our new owners, we committed to that leap forward.

Going on the road to investigate potential venues we soon realised that there aren’t many that fit the bill of hosting more than a few hundred but less than a few thousand people.

Candidly, when Lee Murray, Nathalie Depetro and I arrived at La Défense, our expectations were not particularly high. Little did we know.

Upon entering the venue, however, we were immediately impressed, and the further we explored, the more we discovered a brand new, highly specced conference centre, one that exudes a professional ambience.

A new venue

It is  our real pleasure to announce that HBI 2025 will take place from March 24 – 26 at the newly refurbished Convention Centre of New Industries and Technologies (Centre des Nouvelles Industries et Technologies), known as the CNIT Forest, at La Défense, Paris

The CNIT is a purpose built convention centre which allows us to grow your event in line with our ambitions to make HBI an even more effective meeting place for healthcare leaders to meet to do business and share learnings.

The large floor space that we are occupying enables us to accommodate the higher volume of delegates and crucially to provide you with the opportunity to “take your office on the road” by securing an Executive Meeting Suite to use for deal-making, deal origination, and to build partnerships in a highly formal networking environment.

In addition to having a top-quality venue that can accommodate our ambitions to grow your event in terms of volume and space, Paris is ideally located to make access by train a sustainable reality from large parts of Europe. Plus, there will be an exclusive Eurostar option for London-based delegates to start networking even before arriving in Paris.

As we have seen this Olympic summer, Paris is a beautiful and inspiring place. We are cordially inviting you to spend two days focusing on strategic aims and meeting people while leaving behind your everyday commitments.

We are also inviting you to experience some of the best that the city has to offer in the springtime. Look out for announcements about networking receptions, dinners and  even wine tasting that will combine the very best of professional networking with a unique visitor experience.

Paris is a global capital for the healthcare ecosystem and industry, and a major hub for European investors. We  have huge ambitions. We plan to put HBI at the heart of healthcare and deal-making, and we plan to bring you with us.

We greatly look forward to welcoming you to HBI 2025 at the CNIT in Paris in the spring.
