Mediq pays over 12 times EBITA for Assist

Listed Pan-European pharmaceutical and medical technology distributor Mediq has paid €95m for Assist, a big German homecare distributor of medtech products with sales of €70m in 2010. The deal makes it second only to Gesundheit GHD. But has Mediq overpaid?
