Fertility services: here are Europe’s top 5 private IVF providers

In 2022, only 3.88 million babies were born in Europe, down from 5 million in 1990. With birth rates falling below 4 million, demand for fertility treatments is surging across Europe. 

Factors contributing to low fertility rates in Europe include rising housing costs, job insecurity, economic instability, extended education and career paths, and delayed parenthood, among others. 

Spain and Italy have Europe’s lowest fertility rates.

In this week’s infographic, HBI looks at the falling birth rates and lists the top five IVF providers in Europe based on their fertility revenues, along with the countries they belong to.
