German homecare provider GHD Gesundheits, the market leader with 140,000 patients and over €300 million in revenue in 2011, has signed a distribution deal with Nestlé. GHD, owned by private equity house IK Invest, now has the exclusive distribution rights to Nestlé's enteral nutrition products in Germany - and not only in a homecare setting, but also for wholesale to hospitals.
